I established a trust today for 2008 Olympian, Brian Johnson. He is one of the best long jumpers in the world and recently qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He's currently in Rome competing in international competitions.
His wife, Pamela Johnson, came by today to establish a trust. When she went to Chase Bank recently to establish an account that people could donate to, she was told she must have a trust. She called oure office yesterday to have us set it up. We told her we could set it up today. Last night, things were rushed a bit because the local news media reported they could go to Chase and donate to the trust fund (which had not yet been established).
Today we executed the Brian Johnson Olympic Trust. Donations to the Trust are now being accepted at Chase Bank locations. The account number is #2912947781. Donations to the trust will provide funds that will enable Brian's family to watch him compete.
Below is a picture of me and Brian's wife, Pamela Johnson, just after the trust agreement was executed. Good luck to Brian.
